TAWAG NG TANGHALAN – The Tawag Ng Tanghalan All-Star Grand Resbaker Maricel Callo received a gong from judge Louie Ocampo.
The All-Star Grand Resbak of Tawag Ng Tanghalan is where they gathered all the remarkable contestant from the previous editions of the competition and divided them into three groups: Alab, Bagsik, and Sinag. Meanwhile, the previous one is called Celebrity Champions where Ethel Booba came out as the winner.
With the intensifying clash of every group to be on the “Seat of Power”, the fire melted when Maricel Callo received the first ever gong of the season which made her group mates and other contestants emotional. It was shocking as it happened with only a few lines to sing left. What happened is also embarrassing for the part of the singer.
And the Punong Hurado Louie Ocampo explained why: “Hindi ko in-expect na mangyayari ‘to sa totoo lang… There were a lot of pockets in the song that were off. Sinubukan ko talaga na pagbigyan pero naging madalas na yung pockets na yun eh. It’s a very shaky performance. I am so sorry.”
