PH Bet for Miss Universe 2019 Gazini Ganados Brings Lucky Charm, ‘Pasalubong’ To US
MISS UNIVERSE 2019 – Philippines’ bet for Miss Universe 2019 Gazini Ganados brought her lucky charm and ‘pasalubong’ for her fellow candidates in the United States.
The 68th Miss Universe will be held at Tyler Perry Studious in Atlanta, Georgia in the US. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will be there to crown her successor.
In a previous article, the Filipina-Australian beauty queen said she’s excited to wear her gown for the coronation night. Her gown is made by the Filipino designer Mak Tumang.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach will be skipping this year’s pageant to her prior commitments for her travel show ‘Pia’s Postcards.’ She was sad to decline the offer that she will be the backstage host during the pageant.
The Philippines’ bet for the prestigious pageant, Gazini Ganados, said she received some advice from Pia. The two were spotted at a gym days before she flew to the US.
Based on a report from GMA News, Gazini Ganados brought her lucky charm with her in the US. Filipino pageant fans cheered for her while she was at the airport.
Aside from the fans who brought a banner and flags, a lady stood out for wearing the beauty queens’ gown and a gay man who perfectly copied her signature walk.
According to the report, Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados’ lucky charm is the mini Santo Niño that was passed on to her by former beauty queens. She also brought ‘pasalubong’ for her fellow candidates which is Cebu’s famous dried mangoes.
“I have my mini Santo Niño. That Sto. Niño was passed through beauty queens, through beauty queens. Now that I have it, I decided to bring it with me all the way to Atlanta,” she said,
