SEA GAMES 2019: PH Women’s Football Team Fed w/ “Rice, Kikiam, & Egg”

PH Women’s Football Team for SEA Games 2019 fed with Kikiam for breakfast.

SEA GAMES 2019 – Netizens were shocked to known that the PH Women’s Football Team was fed of “Rice, Kikiam, and Egg” for breakfast.

“PH Women’s Football team coach Let Dimzon: “I’m not sure kung paano arrangement ng PHISGOC, but the quality and quantity of food is not enough, sa variety din, like for this morning hindi enough yung rice and kikiam and egg, walang nutrients,” says a Tweet from ABS-CBN.

Furthermore based on the thread from the said social media platform, Coach Dimzon said that considering this is an international competition, they are expected to serve international courses as well. Thus, they were just thinking that the budget probably can’t cover up those kind of foods.

Dimzon added that she felt embarrassed to other teams for they haven’t experienced such kind of experience from other tournaments and expressed dismay over the country being a bit disorganized in hosting such big event.

Malaysian Women’s Football coach Joceph Jacob said, “Today my breakfast, most of the players eat only bread and some egg. We have a big tournament, I hope they will improve the food.”

Here are the shocked reactions of the netizens about this based on Twitter:

Kikiam lang pala ang breakfast sa #SeaGame2019 jusko nagpahotel pa sila

Kikiam??!!! You go to buffet and you just need to pay less than a thousand and you got more than 20 choices of food, But for seagames with a billion budget, you served the athletes with kikiam and egg???!!! What’s happening??!!!

Kikiam. They spent P50 million on a kaldero, and feed *our* athletes kikiam. (And hold up if you’re gonna say “yan lang kaya natin” because hell naw)

Kikiam and egg for breakfast? I hope the food for the athletes is better than this. And I wonder if they provide halal or vegetarian alternatives…
