TEACHER MELITA LIMJUCO – The daughter of Teacher Melita Limjuco airs her sentiment over the current controversy of her mother.
The issue of Teacher Melita Limjuco after disciplining her Grade 2 student is accordingly the worst episode of the program Raffy Tulfo In Action. This is based on the comments of the netizens and viewers based on the video posted.
They were disappointed over the very heavy punishment for the 55-year-old teacher who publicly apologized already for her wrong way of disciplining her student. It was the parents of the child who took the issue to the program for a resolution.
But it was all received differently. According to some netizens, what happened was shaming the teachers and suggested the complainants to just get their child home-schooled so that they can have full monitoring over their child’s education and can apply their own ways to discipline the child.
Despite the sympathy the teacher received, some have expressed that there are really teachers who are bully. And with this, Teacher Melita’s daughter, Kyla Limjuco, aired her side about it and the pain she felt for her mother being caught up in that kind of controversy.
Her mother was accordingly in the field for 29 years already and they have this high respect to the profession because they were able finish their study with their mother working hard as a teacher. She shared her pain that even her mother has already admitted her mistake and apologized publicly, people just can’t see the essence of it and lambasted her instead without knowing the full and true story and only hearing one side of it.
“Maging ang iniidolo po ng nakararami na si Sir Raffy Tulfo. Hindi karapat-dapat ang titulong yan para sa kanya. Marahil marami sa inyo and kaniyang natulongan pero sa pagkakataon ito, kahit kami ay hindi makapaniwala sa naging hatol niya sa aking ina na ang basehang pinaniniwalaan lamang ay ang kabilang kampo,” she added.
