Quezon Province Cancels Sea Travels Due To Storm

QUEZON PROVINCE – The local government unit in the Quezon province recently cancelled all sea travels to and fro its island towns due to tropical storm Ramon.

This is a precautionary measure amid the treat of the now tropical storm Ramon.

Tropical depression Ramon is reported to slowly move westward. It is currently packed with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour.

According to GMA, all sea travels going back and forth the ports of Atimonan, Gumaca and Real, have ben told to remain anchored.

Ramon has recently intensified into a tropical storm, according to PAGASA in its 11 AM bulletin.

Signal number 1 has been currently raised over seven areas. This includes:

  • Eastern Samar
  • Northern Samar
  • Catanduanes
  • Camarines Sur
  • Camarines Norte
  • Albay
  • Sorsogon

As per the report, Ramon was last spotted at about 385 kilometers east-northeast of the city of Borongan.

As per the temperature, Metro Manila will face a minimum 24 degree Celsius, 16 degree Celsius in Baguio, 24 degree Celsius in Cebu, 21 degree Celsius in Tagaytay, and 24 degree Celsius in Davao.
