WALANG PASOK – Class and work suspensions have been declared in these areas on December 2-7, 2019 due to the 30th SEA Games.

The Philippine government is already preparing for the upcoming 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games. The Philippine National Police also deployed cops throughout the Central Luzon to ensure public safety from the terrorist threat.

Deputy regional director Col. Rhoderick Armamento said that over 6,000 cops and 3,000 soldiers were tasked to secure the 36 games that will be held in 24 venues in Central Luzon.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority also recommends a ban on mall sales and the suspension of classes in several areas from December 2-6, 2019 to prevent massive traffic during the Southeast Asian Games.

Recently, several schools and universities along Metro Manila have declared the cancellation of work and classes from December 2-7, 2019 to give way for the 30th Southeast Asian Games.

De La Salle University-Manila Campus, Benilde Manila, and Benilde Dead School have already suspended the office works and classes during the said date. However, other schools are yet to make further announcements.
