Nadine Lustre turned 26 on October 31. She put the internet on fire as she posed for a daring photoshoot in celebration of her 26th birthday. Photographer Dookie Ducay shared the photos on his Instagram account.
Several netizens created memes from the actress’ daring photo. They edited her crouched pose to make her look like a wrestling referee, tarsier, or a sprint race participant among others.
Nadine Lustre attends the Sunday gathering of ABS-CBN stars for the network’s Christmas station ID. She was asked about the story behind her daring birthday photos. Based on a report from ABS-CBN, the actress said the pictorial happened after her endorsement shoot.
Her makeup artist Jelly Eugenio and photographer Dookie Ducay told her to have a fun shoot for her upcoming birthday. “Sabi nila, ‘Mag-fun shoot naman tayo saglit lang para may ma-post naman kami sa birthday mo,” she said.
In a previous article, Nadine Lustre gave her reaction to the hilarious memes of her daring birthday photos. She said she was not offended at all. In fact, she and her boyfriend James Reid had fun watching those memes online.
“Ang saya, ako kasi mahilig po ako sa mga ganong mga memes, ‘yung mga ini-edit lalo na sa Facebook ang dami kasing ganon. Wala ang saya lang niya. Nakakatuwa siya hindi ako na-offend in any way. Pinakita ko [kay James], natawa din siya,” she said.
