PAGASA – Low Pressure Area To Affect East Luzon, Visayas (Nov. 11)

PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA recently announced that a low pressure area off the nation’s Pacific coast will affect east Luzon and Visayas.

The bureau added in their 4 AM advisory that the brewing storm was located at about 1,210 kilometers east of southern Luzon.

According to ABS-CBN news, it is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) in about 12 to 24 hours. It might intensify into a storm in about 1 to 2 days and, as the 18th storm, it is expected to hit the Philippine landmass.

The extension of the brewing storm or its trough will bring cloudy skies and scattered rain showers on Monday in the following areas:

  • Calabarzon
  • Bicol Region
  • Eastern Visayas
  • Caraga
  • Davao Region
  • Aurora

Based on the report, the bureau warned the said area of possible flash floods or landslides. As for Metro Manila and the rest of Philippines, they will face localized thunderstorms.

As per the temperature, Metro Manila will face a maximum 29 degree Celsius, 21 degree Celsius in Baguio, 31 degree Celsius in Cebu, 27 degree Celsius in Tagaytay, and 32 degree Celsius in Davao.
