Earthquake Alert: Magnitude 3.2 Earthquake Rocks Cagayan, Phivolcs Says
EARTHQUAKE ALERT – The state volcanology agency reported that a magnitude 3.2 earthquake jolted the town of Claveria in Cagayan.
Over the past few days, the series of powerful tremors that struck Cotabato and its nearby provinces in the region of Mindanao become the headlines of local news outlets and social media pages.

On Monday morning (November 11, 2019), the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded a magnitude 3.2 earthquake in the province of Cagayan at 06:54 am.
The epicenter of the quake has been located at 18.89°N, 121.32°E – 040 km N 39° E of Claveria, Cagayan. The earthquake is tectonic in origin and has depth of focus of 021 kilometers, according to Phivolcs.
The seismology agency also said that damage or aftershocks are expected following the slightly strong tremor.
