VIDEO: Quezon City -Market In Brgy. San Isidro Galas Caught On Fire

QUEZON CITY – A market in Barangay San Isidro Galas, Quezon City, Manila recently caught on fire earlier on Friday morning (November 8).

According to ABS-CBN, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that the fire started on 4:12 AM morning. BFP currently raised fourth alarm on the said incident.

According to the market vendors, they heard consecutive explosions before the fire grew larger and spread wider.

Some stalls in the said market are selling incendiary good while stalls of clothing, plastic and styro, have caught fire,

Based on the report, there are reported casualties while one was reportedly having a hard time breathing. They are currently on treatment via first aid.

ABS-CBN’s Angelyza Aquino-Bordon also posted a video of the said incident on Facebook. It is seen that the BFP was currently extinguishing the said fire.

In the previous fire incident, 80 houses in Sitio Pantig in Barangay San Roque, Cebu City, were engulfed in flames. The fire took three hours to be extinguished by firefighters.

Luckily, there are no reported fatalities or casualties in the incident. The officials held an emergency session to declare a state of calamity to the barangay. This is to make use of calamity funds.
