Singer Jona shares her experience in Mindanao quake
Mindanao Quake made the rounds on social media and news sites these past few days and Kapamilya singer Jona shared the earthquake experience she had in Davao.
As a performer, Jona travels within the country and abroad for her gigs. She shared on her Twitter post that she was off to Davao on Thursday morning as she greeted her followers. She also shared videos on her IG story her flight from Manila to Davao.
Following that, the singer shared a video showing the hotel where they will be staying. Apparently this was shot before the another Mindanao quake happened.
However, minutes after that post, Jona shared that the water in the fish pond was already overflowing. Her Twitter post had this caption: “Lumindol po sa Davao City”.
Because of this, she, along with other people, went out of the building. A minute after that, she shared that it was already safe to go back inside.
Last October 28 an earthquake happened in Surigao del Norte with 3.9-magnitude. A day after that, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake shocked the people in Cotabato. People were forced to evacuate hospitals, schools, malls, and other crowded buildings. Many properties were also destroyed.
The Mindanao quake did not stop there. On October 30, another earthquake happened in Cotabato with a 5.0 magnitude. It was followed by a 4.6 magnitude quake. Then, this October 31, people in Tulunan, Cotabato experienced a 6.5 magnitude quake once again.
