Beauty icon Jeffree Star labeled the beauty products of Filipina vlogger Michelle Dy as “trash” after he was asked to make a review.
This is not the first time that the two YouTubers clash on social media. It can be recalled that Jeffree lambasted Michelle over copyright infringement issue. He criticized her for copying his “approved makeup” series.
Just recently, the Filipina beauty vlogger went controversial on Twitter in line with the promotion of her beauty products. She said that she sent a PR box to her ex-boyfriend so that his current girlfriend could use the products. This did not sit well with many netizens. She got bashed on Twitter for her “insensitive” remark. Some netizens expressed that they already know that Michelle did a controversial thing when her name is included in the list of top Twitter trends.
Regarding the beauty products of Michelle Dy, a netizen tweeted her wish that Jeffree Star would make his review. “I want @JeffreeStar to do [an] HONEST review of michelle dy’s makeup basics,” Twitter user @itsmePHANES tweeted. This received a comment from the beauty icon. “I don’t have time to review trash on my channel!” Jeffree said.
