Morissette is indeed one of the breakthrough artists in her generation. No one can refute her talent, espcecially when she belts the high notes. Her talent has been recognize also in other countries just like when she performed in South Korea for the Asia Song Festival in 2017.
Even her fellow singers and celebrities are commending her talent everytime she performs, just like what happened during a rehearsal for the recent episode of ASAP Natin ‘To. In the video posted on the YouTube channel of Kim Castillo Right, Morissette Amon was singing Sammy Davis Jr.’s What Kind Of Fool Am I? for the segment The Greatest Showdown.
Morissette started slow and smooth but towards the song’s finale, she showcased her high notes effortlessly. After her performance, Regine Velasquez was heard saying “whoooah” as she threw her shoe to the direction of Morissette. Then, the camera panned and the shoe of Ogie Alcasid was already on the floor.
Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla was also heard saying, “uwi na ‘to“, while Erik Santos said, “ako nanggigil ako sa’yo Morissette ha“. Her coach in The Voice Philippines, Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo, was clapping after her performance while Kyla was smiling with amusement.
