Carly Rae Jepsen Wows Filipino Fans
CARLY RAE JEPSEN – ‘Call Me Maybe’ hitmaker Carly Rae Jepsen amazed her fans during her live performace.
Canadian singer-songwriter and actress Carly Rae Jepsen rose to fame after the release of her single “Call Me Maybe.” That song became the best-selling single in 2012. It served as the soundtrack for love affairs, heartbreaks and cute-meets.
The 33-year-old musician has received multiple accolades including Allan Slaight Award, Juno Awards, and a Billboard Music Award. She has sold more than 25 million records worldwide.
Carly Rae Jepsen also gathered millions of fans from the Philippines. The county was one of her stops in her “The Dedicated Tour.”
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, the singer arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Tuesday, October 22. This is her third time in Manila for a concert. She performed for the Pinoys back in 2013 and 2015.
Filipino people are known to sing along in concerts loudly. It’s their way of showing how much they admire the artist.
When the singer came to the county this Wednesday, she performed her hit songs “Call Me Maybe,” “I Really Like you,” and “Now That I Found You” at the New Frontier Theater. Filipino fans were amazed by her live performance.
The international pop star also sang “Party for One” and “Cut to the Feeling” as well as her new album “Dedicated.” Her fourth album was released on May 17, 2019 and her tour began on June 27. It has 13 tracks with two (2) additional tracks on the deluxe.
