Psychologist Shares Opinion Regarding Barretto Sisters Feud
BARRETTO SISTERS FEUD – A psychologist shared his professional opinion regarding the feud between the Barretto sister.
As the Barretto sister feud continues, new revelations from Marjorie surfaced. She accused her older sister of creating a scene in the wake of their father Miguel Barretto.
According to Marj, Greta had a nervous breakdown. She added that her older sister had a physical confrontation with their niece Nicole Barretto.
With the continuing feud between the family members, a psychologist, Dr. Toffee De Jesus gave his professional opinion on the matter. He was invited to a program on DZMM.
According to De Jesus, the feud between the Barretto sisters stemmed from a “Precipitating Factor”. This meant that the feud was triggered by a collection of hatred towards each other throughout the years.
He added that the feud is so intense because it is fueled by years of suppressed emotions. The stress of losing someone their father also added to this trigger.
Because of this, the psychologist said that even the most minute negative stimulus could cause the Baretto sisters to explode. He added that this would continue as long as the issue is still being talked about.
During the interview with DZMM, he stated that as long as the involved parties still touch on the subject, their feud would worsen. This is also fueled by side comments from netizens online.
The feud between the Baretto sisters is primarily divided into two sides: Team Marjorie and Team Gretchen.
De Jesus said that because of this, people are going to pick a side to believe. From there, the comments of Netizens that support them further reinforces their belief that they are in the right.
De Jesus was also asked about how to Barretto Family can resolve their issues. According to him, they first need to have a media blackout.
This involves all forms of social media and news. He said this is important because as they keep on rebutting each other, the issue will remain.
After the media blackout, they would need to have a seize fire. From there, they could talk about the issue in private.
They also need to realize that what they’re doing is for their family. He added that what we all do is a reflection of our families.
