Taho Vendor Selling In UP Diliman Goes Viral On Socmed

TAHO VENDOR – A taho vendor who sells his product in UP Diliman and is well known by students there went viral on social media.

According to the Facebook page Humans of Diliman 2019, the vendor, identified as 39 year old Kuya Bon Gaufo by the students.

Bon has been working as a taho vendor ever since 15 years old, hence, he’s been in this industry for 24 years in order to continue his family’s business.

For Bon, this is already his ideal job. He always stars selling in front of the CHK gym daily at 7am, then takes a taxi home at 12nn in order to refill his containers of about 3 gallons since his taho quickly runs out.

He goes to UP and sell his taho to hungry athletes at 3pm and always gets home at almost midnight.

Because of his job, although tiresome, he got to know many famous athletes and coaches over the years like Coach Rio of the Track and Field Team or Coach Anto of the Football team.

Bon further said that selling taho his whole life is his way of providing income for his family. Not only that, he enjoys doing his job.
