Woman Arrested For Unauthorized Use of Angelica Panganiban Credit Card
ANGELICA PANGANIBAN – A woman was arrested for using Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban’s credit card to make unauthorized transactions.
Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban has been working in the show business since she was a young girl. She starred on numerous of films and tv series. Until now she continues to show her acting prowess whether in comedy or drama.
The 32-year-old actress is also one of the most followed stars on social media. He frequently updates her fans from her daily activities to getaways.
Angelica Panganiban’s Tweet in August caught the attention of the netizens. She said someone has been using her credit card in Pampanga. The person almost spent half a million.
“May gumagamit ng credit card ko sa Pampangga. Malapit na siya umabot sa 500k. Walang magawa mga tao. Bat d kyo mag ipon para sa sarili niyo? Bat kayo magnanakaw?” she wrote.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, the woman who used Angelica Panganiban has been arrested. The cops used an arrest warrant to apprehend suspect named Agatha Reyes in her own house.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said the suspect spent P5000 using the credit card. She also attempted to used the card at a casino.
“We asked out artist to do a cartographic sketch noong na-verify may nakuha tayong warrant of arrest. Noong nakausap natin siya (Reyes) inamin niyang siya ang gumamit ng card,” said NBI-Internal Operations Division Chief Ronald Aguto.
According to the report, the NBI suspected that the bank courier and the suspect conspire on the illegal activity. “’Yung card nakukuka sa couriers, heto ‘yung mga renewal ng cards tapos nagagawan nila ng paraan para ma-activate ito. It appears na magkakasabwat but it’s hard to say, kung ano ang relationship ng courier sa bangko,” Aguto said.
Based on the report, the suspect is currently detained for credit card fraud. The authorities are also searching for her accomplice.
