OVERWEIGHT GIRL – A 225lb girl named Hazel got motivated to get fit and stay healthy after harsh comments that she was almost as big as an “aparador” (cabinet).

Hazel used to have a lifestyle that consisted of Buffets, Korean Grills, and Milktea. The massive growth of affordable Korean buffets and the popularity of Boba recently certainly did a number on Hazel.

However, she decided that it was time to get on the right track and start living a healthy lifestyle. Hazel and her boyfriend’s couple goals before was to always go out for food.

This has been going on for almost 11 years now. Leading to this, Hazel had gotten overweight for her height of 5’4”.

Doctors say that the adequate weight of a person for that height should not exceed 120 lbs. His boyfriend, on the other hand, weighed in at 280 lbs.

But, this all changed when Hazel’s brother joked that about how she was as big as a cabinet. Because of this, her whole family started to chime in on the joke.

Hazel got hurt by the jokes uttered by her family members. Because of this, she channeled all of her anger into working out.

She never stopped working out in a span of six months since that time. Based on an article by GMA, she lost 92 lbs and now weigh 133 lbs.

Her boyfriend, Jeng also started to work out and has since lost 240 lbs. In a video posted by PinoyMD, Hazel and Jeng’s former tag line was “Through Thick and Thin”.

For a while, they seemed to take that literally. But, because of the proper motivations, they are now on track to a healthier lifestyle.

She said the secret to her weight loss was an exercise regimen called “circuit training”. This type of exercise consists of short routines that last 20 seconds each.

After finishing the entire set you only get to rest for one minute. This is effective for weight loss as the time for rest is very minimal as with the time it takes to finish the routines.
