Zoe Kravitz Will Play Catwoman In ‘The Batman’ Film
THE BATMAN – American singer-actress Zoe Kraviatz will play Catwoman in the “The Batman” film alongside Robert Pattinson.
Almost all people in the world knows who Bruce Wayne or ‘Batman’ is. The fictional superhero was released in 1939. There has been lots of Hollywood star who portrayed the role of the super-rich man from Gotham city.
Among them are Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, Michael Keaton, George Clooney and Val Kilmer. The new Batman is bagged by the ‘Twilight’ actor Robert Pattinson. He announced his inclusion on the film earlier this year.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, American actress Zoe Kravitz is set to play the role of ‘Catwoman’ in the new Batman movie. She is the daughter of actress Lisa Bonet and rock musician Lenny Kravitz.
She has done several hit films and tv series such as “Divergent,” Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Big Little Lies,” and “Californication” among others.
Catwoman is the lead character’s foe and love interest in the DC comics. Zoe Kravitz follows actresses such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Anne Hathaway, and Halle Berry in portraying the whip-wielding cat burglar. “The Batman” will be directed by Matt Reeves, he’s also the one who directed “Planet of the Apes.”
In 2017, Zoe voiced ‘Catwoman’ in ‘The Lego Batman Movie.’
According to the report, the casting of the “The Batman” came after the success of the “Joker” movie. The film broken North American theater’s October box office records. Comedian actor Jonah Hill reportedly in talks with Reeves’ latest movie project.
