PAGASA – Trough Of Hagibis Brings Clouds, Rains On East Mindanao
PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA recently said that the trough of Typhoon Hagibis will bring clouds, rains over eastern part of Mindanao.
The bureau said that Hagibis, which is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), will bring cloudy skies and rainshowers over eastern parts of Mindanao.
According to GMA News, the bureau added in their early morning forecast that meanwhile, the northeasterly surface windflow will affect Luzon.
Scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the trough of Hagibis will be face by the following:
- Caraga Region
- Davao Region
- Northern Mindanao
As for Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines, it will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain due to localized thunderstiorms.
The bureau also warned the public of possible landslides and floods that will occur during thunderstorms.
As per the report, in their wind speed forecast, north and east Luzon will have strong winds and its coastal waters will be rough.
The rest of Luzon and Visayas will face light to moderate winds moving north east to north west. As for its coastal waters, it will remain slight to moderate.
The Mindanao will face light to moderate winds and moves northwest to west while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
