Makeshift Basketball Court Occupies Two Lanes in Quezon City

A makeshift basketball court occupied two lanes or almost half of the road along Scout Torillo corner Scout Borromeo in Quezon City.

Nowadays, the worsening traffic condition is one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries across the world. The traffic congestion causes numerous problems along the road.

The Philippine government is already implementing stricter rules and regulations to reduce the worsening traffic problems in the country. The authorities are also implementing road widening and road clearing operations to resolve the issue.

However, there are still some residents who were violating the traffic law despite the stricter traffic policy.

Recently, the Facebook page “ANC 24/7” has shared the video footage of a basketball court occupying two lanes in Quezon City. The makeshift basketball court causes inconvenience towards the motorists passing at the area.

In the video, it can be seen that several residents are playing basketball at the court that causes inconvenience along the busy road. The motorists and vehicle drivers were having difficulty to pass in the area fearing that they might hit the resident playing at the court.

The video was taken almost a week after the deadline for the clearing operation in Metro Manila.
