PAGASA – Hagibis Less Likely To Enter PAR, New Typhoon Enters

PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA recently said that Typhoon Hagibis has a slight chance to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The bureau’s weather specialist Meno Mendoza further said that the weather disturbance was last spotted 2,020 kilometers east of Northern Luzon.

According to Inquirer, Hagibis is currently packed with maximum sustained winds up to 200 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 245 kilometers per hour. It is currently moving northwest at 20 kilometers per hour.

The bureau earlier said that another typhoon will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday (October 11). It will be named “Perla”.

As per the report, the bureau’s 4 AM bulletin said that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms.

As for the temperature, Manila and Davao will have a maximum 32 degrees Celsius, 31 degrees Celsius in Cebu, 27 degrees Celsius and Tagaytay, and 23 degrees Celsius in Baguio City.
