Maja Salvador Bags Best Actress At Asian TV Awards For TV Series ‘Wildflower’
MAJA SALVADOR – Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador’s reaction after winning the best actress award at Asian TV Awards for her drama series ‘Wildflower.’
Filipina actress, dancer, and recording artist Maja Salvador is considered one of the most remarkable actresses today. She has starred in several Kapamilya heavy drama tv series such as ‘Ina, Kapatid, Anak,’ The Legal Wife,’ and ‘Wildflower.’
The 31-year-old celebrity’s revenge drama afternoon teleserye is packed with amazing actors like Tirso Cruz III, Aiko Melendez, RK Bagatsing, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and Sunshine Cruz. Maja surely learned a lot from her co-stars.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, Maja Salvador’s ‘Wildflower’ continues to astonish worldwide as it currently plays in New Caledonia, Polynesia. The Kapamilya network also partnered with a French content distributor, Ampersand fiction.
The show currently plays in French-speaking African countries and will air in Madagascar this coming October.
According to the report, Maja Salvador won the Best Actress Award at the ‘Asia Contents Awards 2019’ in Busan, South Korea. She was recognized for her role as Ivy Aguas and Lily Cruz in her tv series ‘Wildflower.’
The prominent actress thanked the Kapamilya network for giving her the role and specifically thanked the veteran actor Tirso Cruz III for frequently telling her to do better.
“It was an honor to be trusted with this role by our network, ABS-CBN, and the whole team of Wildflower…”
“I share this recognition to all of my brilliant colleagues in the show, most especially to the veteran genius, Mr. Tirso Cruz III, who upped my game and encouraged me when I thought I had nothing more to give,” she added.
Based on the report, the ABS-CBN program was also nominated in the ‘Best Asian TV Drama’ category but lost to “Faculty” from Singapore and Thailand’s “Hormones.” Maja said she felt like she just won a crown from the Miss Universe pageant.
“Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na parang bitbit mo ang buong Pilipinas, parang ang pakiramdam ko nanalo ako ng Miss Universe,” Maja said.
