Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019 Vanessa Mae Walters dethroned due to these reasons
Miss World Philippines organization dethroned Vanessa Mae Walters as the Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019 due to these reasons.
Last September 14, the Miss World Philippines 2019 was held and a new set of beauty queens were crowned to represent the country in various international pageants. One of the crowned ladies was Vanessa who garnered the first-ever Miss Eco Teen Philippines title. However, based on the article from PEP, she was dethroned due to misrepresentation of her credentials, unprofessional behavior, and indecency.
All beauty queens are bound by the rules of the organization but apparently, the 19-year-old beauty queen was found guilty of these negative things. The MWP organization released an official statement on this which was signed by national director Arnold Vegafria.
“As Miss Eco Teen Philippines, Ms. Vanessa Mae Walters is expected to act as an ambassador of the Philippines in the Miss Eco Teen competition, represent the Organization in a professional matter, and serves as a role model for the youth,” according to MWP statement.
According to the official statement, Vanessa Mae Walters exhibited unprofessional behavior such as not attending functions to promote her title, walking out of the meetings called by national director and she also had a public display of alcohol and tobacco use.
When it comes to indecency, the young beauty queen shared her bare body photo on her Instagram account. This received negative comments from several netizens. Because of this, Mary Daena Zaide Resurrecion, who was also one of the MWP 2019 candidates, will replace her.
