James Reid Releases Official Statement On His Departure With Viva
JAMES REID – Recently, there have been speculations that the actor was planning to switch networks following his departure from VIVA, however, James clarified this and other rumor by releasing an official statement.
The press statement was released through his lawyers and was published on September 19, 2019. The statement expresses Jame’s decisions and thoughts regarding his split from the entertainment company.
The statement read: “To put an end to all the recent speculation, Mr. James Reid would like to make it clear, that, after careful deliberation, the has decided no to renew his contracts with the Viva Group”.
It also stated that James was grateful and appreciative of the enormous contributions that Viva has made for the actor. James gave a special shoutout to “Boss Vic” del Rosario and his management group as well.
He thanked “Boss Vic” and the management group for greatly contributing to his successful career in the Philippines’ entertainment industry. James has been in the Philippine’s showbiz scene for over seven years now.
James then addressed the rumors that he would be switching networks. He stated that he would continue to dedicate his media activities exclusively to ABS-CBN.
The actor had also announced his plans on focusing on his own music label. Apart from that, James had also established his own family management company “Reid Entertainment Inc.
In the statement, James also said that he is now looking forward to forging his own path in the entertainment industry. He then added that his injuries from training for the Pedro Penduko movie were now healing.
With this, James said that as soon as he has completed recovery, he would continue his on-screen activities. He added that this comeback would be in the not-so-distant future.
Finally, James Reid thanked the unwavering support of his fans since his Pinoy Big Brother days. “James expresses his utmost gratitude to this loyal band of brothers and sisters, the statement said.
