SYNTHESIS OF RESEARCH

Meaning

According to the Michigan State of University, a synthesis is a written discussion that is based on one or more sources. The ability to write this depends on the ability to make connections among sources, may it be in essays, articles, fiction, as well as non-written sources such as lectures, interviews and observations.

If a person has the capacity or the skill to write research papers, then technically he/she already has the ability to even write a synthesis.

Since it is based on two or more sources, a person has to be selective when selecting an information from each.
