Saudi Arabia Tourist Visa Available Soon – Dress Code for Women Tourists To Be Changed
SAUDI ARABIA – The government of this country is set to offer a tourist visa and to ease the dress code for women tourists.
Every country around the globe has something unique to offer. It may be their culture, the lifestyle of the people, the beautiful tourist spots, the delicious food, etc. That is why many people don’t bother spending a lot for travels.
Nowadays, there are a lot of visa-free countries thus making an international trip is quite easier now compared before. However, there are still some countries that are very strict when it comes to tourist entry.
One of the countries known to be strict for tourist entry is Saudi Arabia. A lot of people wanted to see this popular nation. Recently, a good news crossed the surface – it is set to offer a tourist visa.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, boosting the tourism of Saudi Arabia is one of the main goal of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman thus it is offering a tourist visa. It is the first time for the country to deliver such offer.
The said decision is also in line with the Crown Prince’s pursuit to prepare the country’s economy for a post-oil era. It was just recently when attacks on the oil infrastructure of the nation took place.
Based on the report, in a statement, Tourism Chief Ahmed al-Khateeb tagged the move of the government to open the country for tourists as a “historic moment”. It cited what tourists may be treated with.
“Visitors will be surprised… by the treasures we have to share — five UNESCO World Heritage Sites, a vibrant local culture and breathtaking natural beauty,” al-Khateeb said.
Aside from offering tourist visa, Saudi Arabia is also set to ease its dress code for foreigner women who wanted to visit the place. A woman may not wear abaya robe in touring the place but must be in “modest clothing”.
