Bong Revilla To File Case Against Critics Saying He Took Money

Bong Revilla To File Case VS Critics Accusing Him Of Keeping Money

BONG REVILLA – After almost half a decade of detention over plunder charges, actor-politician Ramon “Bong” Revilla has made his way back to the Senate.

Bong Revilla was charged with plunder back in 2014. This was because of allegations that he pocketed P224 million in kickbacks through bogus organizations.

However, the Sandiganbayan acquitted Revilla of plunder back in December 2018. But, they asked Revilla to post a P480,000 bail for 16 counts of graft chargers.

Although the Senator was acquitted, there are still several critics that say that he pocketed the money. In this previous article, the Senator gave a message to his bashers.

“Sana naman matigil na ang pambabatikos at tayo’y magsama-sama para sa bayan,” Said Senator Revilla. According to an article by Pep, Bong said he doesn’t let the bashings get to him.

The senator then stated that he could always ignore the bashers. Revilla also added that he bears the weight of those bashing on his shoulders everyday.

However, the Senator said that he can’t let the bashings slide any longer. Especially the critics saying he still has money stolen from the citizens of the Philippines.

He says that the Court itself said that he doesn’t have any money that needs to be returned. Revilla then added that he can no longer ignore those individuals or groups that still accuse him of keeping money.

According to the article by Pep, the Senator stated that it was time for him to make a move against whoever accuses him. He added that the bashing against him right now is too much.

With this, Revilla said that they have decided to act against people saying he still has money to return. He said that they would file a case against people spreading heresy against him.

Finally, he stated that he was already acquitted. He then wished that the people would respect the decision made by the Court.
