Cops Rescue Chinese Women Who Are Allegedly Sold For P9000-P20000 In Parañaque
CHINESE WOMEN – The authorities rescued more than 50 Chinese women who are allegedly sold for P9,0000 to P20,000 in Parañaque brothel.
We can’t deny that lots of people have engaged in prostitution due to poverty. However, the government illegalized that kind of business since it corrupts the rights of some women who cannot go against their manager. Some establishments were also caught using minors as their workers.
There have been several reports about his business in the Philippines. The authorities have shut down several establishments who operates this illegal activity.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, cops rescued some Chinese women from a brothel in Baclaran, Parañaque City on Thursday, September 19. 53 foreign women are currently in the custody of the cops.
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) operatives raided the three-story under-construction condominium building after they received a tip saying it is a brothel. NCRPO Director Guillermo Eleazar said the info came after they rescue foreign prostitutes at a separate brothel last September 4.
According to the report, NCRPO arrest four (4) Chinese men who allegedly managed the illegal firm, and seven (7) Pinay janitress. The Chinese women were allegedly sold at 9,000-20,000 pesos. The prostitution den in Parañaque has 7 VIP rooms and 30 ordinary rooms.
Based on the report, the Filipino janitress said the brothel operates from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. and their operating hours extend during the weekend. The cleaner also disclosed that a Pinoy customer could not enter the den without a Chinese companion.
The police also apprehended some 20 Chinese national customers. The mayor of Parañaque City, Edwin Olivarez, said they discovered that there was something going on the building due to the presence of Chinese.
