Francisca Susano, Oldest Person in Philippines Marks Her 122nd Birthday

Francisca Susano, the oldest person in the Philippines has celebrated her 122nd birthday in Kabankalan, Negros Occidental.

On September 11, 2019, Lola Francisca marked her 122nd birthday together with her family, relatives, and friends through a simple celebration. Some police officers also visited the elderly woman and surprised her with a cake.

Lola Francisca’s granddaughter Helen Cachero said that her grandma can still speak and hear but she is already experiencing difficulty in moving and standing. Most people who knows Susano believe that she is the oldest person living in the world.

Currently, eight (8) out of 14 children of the elderly woman is still alive and the oldest is already 100-year-old. Lola Francisca has a total grandchildren of 364, which is already in the fourth generation.

Cachero also said that they have already submitted the necessary documents to the Guinness Book of World Records proving that the 122-year-old grandma is the oldest person living on earth.

The elderly grandma shared that her secret to long life is eating healthy food such as vegetable.

As of now, Kane Tanaka of Japan holds the Guinness record of being the oldest person at the age of 116 years old.
