September 16, 17, & 18 Declared by Malacañang Palace in Selected Areas

Malacañang Palace has declared September 16, 17, and 18, 2019 as special non-working holidays in different parts of the country.

Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea has signed several proclamations declaring September 16, 17, and 18 as special non-working holidays in two municipalities and one province. Medialdea signed the three proclamations on September 10, 2019 (Tuesday).

The proclamations were made so people can be given the opportunity to celebrate certain events. “It is but fitting and proper that the people be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies,” Medialdea said.

Here are the following proclamations:

  • Proclamation No. 810 declares September 16 (Monday) as a special non-working holiday in the municipality of Bontoc, Mountain Province to celebrate its 111th founding anniversary
  • Proclamation No.811 declares September 17 (Tuesday) as a special non-working holiday in the province of Zamboanga Del Sur to mark its 67th founding anniversary.
  • Proclamation No. 812 declares September 18 (Wednesday) as a special non-working holiday in the municipality of Bansalan, Davao Del Sur for its 67th founding anniversary.
