Here’s Reason Why Isko Moreno Met Coco Martin
ISKO MORENO – Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno revealed the reason why he met with the ‘Ang Probinsyano‘ actor, Coco Martin.
Filipino actor Coco Martin is the lead actor and current director of the top-rated tv series in the Philippines, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. He is considered one of the most successful actors of this generation.
Before he became a Kapamilya superstar, the 37-year-old celebrity used to star in independent film. He won multiple awards and was tagged as “Philippines’ Indie Film Prince.”
Coco Martin is loved by his fans and fellow celebrities for being so generous towards them. He gave chances to former celebrities who want to return to show business. Among the celebrities he helped include Baron Geisler, Cogie Domingo, and Mystica.
The prominent actor has some similarities to the current mayor of Manila, Francisco “Isko” Moreno. Both of them are popular and adored by the masses.
Coco Martin recently has an important meeting with Isko Moreno. The photos of their meeting went viral on social media. Based on a report from PUSH, the mayor revealed why he decided to have a meeting with the actor.
The 44-year-old former actor said he and Coco discussed a project for this coming December. He said their collaboration will benefit the young Filipinos.
“Marami kaming pinagusapang bagay at abangan ninyo baka sa Disyembre Makita ninyo ako sa pinilakang tabing,” said Isko.
According to the report, Isko Moreno said he and Coco Martin have lots of similarities. He said the actor understands the feelings of the young Pinoys. The matinee idol said he’s willing to help him on the youth empowerment project.
“Pareho kami ni Cardo, galing kami sa alaws (wala) e. Siyempre naramdaman niya din ‘yung pakiramdam ng mga mahihirap nating kabataan. He wanted to encourage everybody…”
“Sabi niya, ‘Kuya Isko, anytime na kakailanganin mo ako, gusto ko magsalita sa mga kabataan,” he added.”
However, the actor-turned-politician hasn’t disclosed as to when and where their project would take place.
