Kathryn Bernardo said Alden Richards wants to attend the ABS-CBN Ball 2019
Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo revealed that her HLG co-star Kapuso Pambansang Bae Alden Richards wants to attend the ABS-CBN Ball 2019.
Though Alden is under the management of GMA, he was fortunate enough to be given a chance to do a movie under Star Cinema, the film franchise of ABS-CBN. With that, he was paired with Kathryn in Hello, Love, Goodbye which is now considered as the top-grossing film.
Many moviegoers proved that the film by Cathy Garcia Molina is indeed something worth watching. Positive feedback rained on social media commending the people behind the movie.
Through this film, Kathryn was able to appear on GMA shows once again. It can be recalled that she already did a stint in the Kapuso network when she played the young Marian Rivera in the series Endless Love.
During the movie promotions, Alden Richards also appeared on several Kapamilya shows. Somehow, this broke the wall that divides the two networks because of rivalry. It also proved that stars from both networks can work together harmoniously.
As the ABS-CBN Ball 2019 is fast approaching, Kathryn was asked during a recent press conference if Alden will attend the event. Based on the report from The Philippine Star, the actress said that her movie leading man wants to go to the ball.
“I’m not sure if they allowed him to go,” she shared. It appeared that Alden had to ask permission from either or both of the TV networks. “Hindi ko alam, pero kung pupunta s’ya, he’s very welcome,” Kathryn added.
On the other hand, based on the report, she affirmed that she will be going to the ABS-CBN Ball 2019 with her boyfriend Daniel Padilla, just like in the previous years.
