According to a write-up of entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin in Bandera, a source told her that Gretchen saved a lot of money when because of her conflict with Marjorie. “Napakalaki ng natipid ni Gretchen mula nu’ng hindi na sila magkasundo ni Marjorie! Sobrang laki! Sa kanya kasi nakasandal ang kapatid niyang ‘yun!” the source shared.
The source also said that Greta is really generous because she always shares her blessings to her siblings, especially if they need something. During the time when Claudine’s career was down, the source said that she did not know the financial support she was getting was from Greta.
“Hindi alam ni Claudine na ‘yung ibinibigay na tulong ng brother niya, e, galing kay Gretchen! Sobrang mahal ni Gretchen ang bunso nila, sobra!” the source revealed. It was said that Greta told their brother to always look after their youngest and her children.
In addition, the source shared that Gretchen Barretto would always worry about the situation of Claudine and said, “Mabait na sister si Gretchen! Sinayang ‘yun ni Marjorie!”
