Heart Evangelista Admits She’s A Victim of Bullying in School
HEART EVANGELISTA – GMA-7 actress and tv host Heart Evangelista recalled being bullied by “pretty” girls in her school.
Filipina actress Love Marie Payawal Ongpauco-Escudero or better known as Heart Evangelista is also a socialite, philanthropist, tv host, and visual media artist. She has done several movies and tv series including ‘Mu Korean Jagiya,’ ‘Mulawin VS Ravena,’ and ‘Ang Tanging Ina N’yong Lahat’ among others.
The 34-year-old celebrity is the wife of Senator Francis ‘Chiz’ Escudero. Their gorgeous wedding was held in Balesin Island Club in Mauban, Quezon.
Before becoming one of the famous celebrities and fashion icon in the Philippines, Heart Evangelista revealed she’s been bullied in school. She shared her sad experienced on the Youtube vlog of Mimiyuuuh. The video was uploaded on August 9.
The vlog is titled “Mimiyuuuh as Heart Evangelista for a Day.” The internet sensation’s video has generated 1,788,560 views as of this writing.
Heart Evangelista said she was eating in the restroom before to avoid being bullied and later decided to be homeschooled because she could no longer bear eating there.
“Kaya rin ako nag-stop. Nag-home study ako kasi hindi ko na kayang kumain sa CR. Oo, kumakain ako sa CR… Di nila ako bet, lalo na ‘yung mga higher batch,” she said.
The actress also shared that her “pretty” schoolmates used to instruct her classmates to avoid her. “Parang may line tapos doon sa… kapag kunyari ako ‘yung huling tao sa line, ‘yung susunod sa akin may gap… Kasi inuutusan ng magagandang girls ‘yung classmates ko na huwag didikit sa akin, ganyan,” she said.
One of her companions asked her if the “bullies” in her school were just “insecure.” She replied in jest: “Di naman siguro… Charot, di ko alam!”
