Reason Why Judy Ann Santos Accepted the Ang Probinsyano Role
ANG PROBINSYANO – Kapamilya actress Judy Ann Santos revealed the reason why she accepted the role offered to her.
One of the latest additions to the cast members of the ABS-CBN primetime action television series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is Judy Ann Santos. It is the much-awaited TV comeback of the actress.
FPJAP, led by action star Coco Martin, is on its third year of airing now. In fact, the FPJAP has recently aired it 1,000th episode. A huge part of the Philippine showbiz industry is part of the said action-drama TV series.
With regards to the role of Judy Ann Santos in Ang Probinsyano, she plays the character of a woman with a mental illness. She has a split personality disorder and is responsible over several deaths.
Speaking to Pep and Cinema News, Judy Ann Santos recently revealed why she accepted the Ang Probinsyano role offered to her. Here’s what she said:
“One main reason why I accepted the role is for mental health awareness. It’s something na di masyadong kinikilala ng lahat,” she said.
According to Juday, she wanted to relay the message that mental health issues are different from each other. She wanted to tell the people that those who are undergoing it should not be judged.
Based on the report, Judy Ann Santos also expressed that all the challenges are in her role but she enjoys it though it is hard. In terms of working with Coco Martin, she like their “give and take relationship”.
“I like how Coco listens to my suggestions… He’s very responsible, he’s the captain of the ship. He knows what he wants… he delivers his message sa paraang maiintindihan ng mga tao,” she said.
Currently, the role of the Kapamilya actress in FPJAP has yet to be fully introduced to the people and lot of exciting things can possibly happen. The fans and supporters of Judy are very happy over her TV comeback.
