Here’s the reason of Willie Revillame why he took flying lessons
Wowowin host Willie Revillame revealed in a recent interview the reason why he decided take flying lessons to be a licensed pilot.
Willie is one of the wealthy personalities in the Philippines who has his own helicopter. Actually, he does not just own one but two helicopters with a whopping millions of pesos price tag. Of course, this is aside from her other luxury properties such as cars and houses.
The host also shared just recently that he has a new endeavor and is his own mobile phone application. The TV host already signed a contract for his Wil to Play app. This will serve as an extention of his primetime game show in the Kapuso network.
In a previous report, Willie said that the app will help bring hope for a better life to OFW’s and as well as those who want to improve their live financially.
Amid his busy schedule and the upcoming launch of his new app, the Wowowin host is still taking flying lessons. He shared in an interview with PEP that he feels happy to be a student again. Willie said that he is not just learning things about flying but also about the knowledge surrounding his course to be a pilot.
“Maganda itong natutunan kong ito kasi marami akong natutunan, not just in life. Yung history ng Pilipinas, history ni Newton [Isaac Newton, English mathematician, physicist and astronomer], kung saan galing yung hangin, kung saan nanggagaling yung init. Yun palang hangin, nanggagaling sa mga puno. Yung mga ganoon. Bakit lumilipad ang helicopter, yung mga ganoon, kailangang malaman mo, so lahat nang ito, may learnings ka,” the host shared.
He also said that he can now operate the helicopter for take off and landing but with the aid of a licensed pilot. “Ichi-check right ka ng CAAP [Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines]. Kapag puwede ka na, saka mo pa lang makukuha yung personal license mo para sa pilot,” Willie Revillame added.
He is eager to reach this stage after his exam for flying. Above all this, the TV host also shared another purpose why he wanted to be a licensed pilot. “Who knows, in the future, huwag naman sana, kulang ng piloto, makatulong ako sa emergency. Kung may mga disaster, I can help,” he said.
Willie added that what delights him more is that even though people did not vote for him but still he can extend help to the needy, based on the report.
