The Philippine government is doing their best to stop the crimes in the country. However, the current number of cops isn’t enough to stop all of it.

This style of a robbery was very rampant in the country most especially in the less crowded or less patrolled area.

Based on a report from GMA News, 6 unidentified men stole the jewelry from the shop that’s worth P8 million in Laguna. In less than 1 minute, the robbers finished transferring the luxurious items in their sack.

The robbery of the ‘martilyo gang’ was recorded on closed-circuit television (CCTV) on the area.

According to the report, each of the members has a specific role. Half of them were holding a weapon while others were smashing the glass.

It can be seen on the video that one of the robbers was pointing his weapon to the people around the area. One of the lookouts was carrying a bigger weapon.

Based on the report, the cops weren’t able to catch the robbers due to their distance from the shop. P/Lt. Col. Danilo Mendoza said it takes them 2-3 minutes to arrive at the shop. Authorities said they already have a person of interest.

After the incident, the authorities required all the jewelry store on that market to place metal bars in front of their shop.

“Pag hindi sila sumunod ay kakausapin ko ang mayor na wag nang e-renew yung kanilang permit,” Mendoza said.
