EARTHQUAKE – A 6.0 magnitude quake hit Bali, Indonesia today, July 16.

Undeniably, nowadays, there are several occurrence of natural incidents such as earthquakes. It is characterized by a shaking caused by the movement of the plates.

Quakes can happen anytime and countries that are lying along the Pacific Ring of Fire are more prone to the said natural incident. Usually, a strong quake is followed by more than ten(10) aftershocks or shaking.

Recently, a part of Indonesia which is one of the countries that gather a lot of tourists was hit by a quake.

EARTHQUAKE

Based on a report on Insider, a 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit Bali, Indonesia today, July 16.

According to National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) in Indonesia, it was around 7:00 in the morning when the quake took place. It was located at the south of Bali, a popular tourist spot in the country.

According to the report, the quake that hit Bali, Indonesia had a depth of 68 kilometers. The agency said that there is no tsunami warning but there are recorded aftershocks in the nearby provinces.
