CCTV Captures “Scammer” Selling Car Bike Rack On Facebook Claiming the Money

SCAMMER – The alleged “scammer” selling a car bike rack on Facebook was spotted by a CCTV while he was claiming the money sent.

Undeniably, nowadays, there are a lot of alarming transactions happening on social media platforms which have become the venues for some buy-and-sell businesses.

There are people who have seemingly used the social media as a venue not to promote and grow their business but to cheat on people who deal with them fairly.

Some of these individuals would pretend to be sellers of certain products but once they got the money of the buyer, they would stop all forms of communication. They are tagged as “scammers”.

In line with it, in May 2019, a certain netizen behind the Facebook username Bobby Arnaldo reached out to Philnews.ph. According to him, a “scammer” behind the username “Unclebenny Hobby” who was selling a car bike rack has victimized him.

The car bike rack was sold for Php 6,000.00. Arnaldo allegedly sent the money to the seller and they agreed to have the product shipped. According to the netizen, he even offered to send an extra money for the shipping.

However, shortly after the money was claimed at Batangas-Alitagtag-Pinagkrusan, the seller stopped communicating with the buyer. He reached out to Philnews to warn the public most especially his fellow bikers.

Recently, Philnews.ph got an update regarding the alleged scammer selling car bike rack on Facebook. He was spotted by a CCTV when he claimed the money sent to him.
