The Pinoy nurse along with a Filipina cabin crew member assisted the pregnant lady to safely deliver her child.

“We wrapped the baby in a blanket and I monitored the mother’s vital signs using equipment from the plane’s first aid kit. I monitored her for signs of bleeding which is a concern after one gives birth,” Mendoza said.

The plane pilot and the cabin crew asked the Bacolod nurse if it was safe for the Pinay mom and baby to travel for three more hours back to the Philippines.

  1. Good job! Filipino nurses working abroad are trained to do things that doctors are doing, especially in Dublin, Ireland. They are more hands on with their patients, e.g. taking-in of medicines, etc. , the wellness of the patients are their most concern. God bless you Sir, sana tularan kang marami.
