Here’s the success story of former Streetboys member Danilo Barrios
Former Streetboys member Danilo Barrios shared his success story from his showbiz career to his various business ventures.
Danilo was part of the popular all-male dance group during the 90s until early 2000s. Aside from dancing, he also did various TV shows and movies.
Eventually, he found success outside showbiz. Together with his wife, Regina Soqueño-Barrios, they ventured to beauty and wellness businesses.
Currently, the couple owns and manages four companies such as Ysabelle Spa & Skin Clinic, Hugo clothing, and their online businesses My Precious One and TATIOACTIVE DX Beauty & Wellness Center, based on PEP’s report.
The former dancer-actor admitted that running their businesses is a difficult task, especially that he does not have any background when it comes to this aspect.
“Honestly, wala po akong background sa pagnenegosyo, e. Sa kanya [Regina] po kasi nag-umpisa yung business through online. Uh, mahirap po kasi, araw-araw parang may mga failures. May mga natutunan ka. Maraming mga bagay na minsan hindi ko naintindihan,” he shared.
When asked about his role in their businesses, he jokingly said, “Magmaneho. Magbigay ng kape. Magtanong kung gutom na ba siya.”
Kidding aside, Danilo Barrios said that his wife is the brain of their business and once she got the idea it is time for him to do the researching.
“Yung research, doon naman ako magre-research kung ano yung patok sa tao? Ano ang kailangan ng tao? Kung ano bang mas hiyang sa kanila? So, doon kami nag-a-ano, nagtutulungan,” he said.
He also shared that being a celebrity gave him advantage to promote their businesses. When customers knew that it is him, it is easy for them to introduce their products.
Danilo plans to take a business course two or three years from now. They are just waiting for their children to be independent.
Talking about getting back to showbiz, he said that he will not say no if there is a TV guesting offer as he misses acting also.
However, his priority now is his family and their businesses, based on the report.
