GRABFOOD DRIVER – A photo taken by certain netizen has went viral online after it apparently showed the miserable situation of grab driver amid rain.
Technological innovation has become a great deal of today. Such as when we crave of something, we can immediately have it with just an app, an internet connection, and some few clicks, right in front of our door step. Like the newest offer from Grab, the GrabFood.
According to their website, “GrabFood is a service that connects local food businesses to people. When you place an order with GrabFood, we receive it, send it off to the restaurant and assign a GrabFood delivery partner to pick up the order to bring it to you.” They are paid with a fixed amount per trip and incentives. They operate Mondays to Sundays (except holidays), from 9am to 9pm and there is no minimum purchase. Grab offers other services like GrabTaxi, GrabCar, GrabShare, GrabExpress, and GrabFood. As they expand, they vowed to give more variety.
And now, with nothing but to serve their customers and deliver what has been ordered, this GrabFood driver’s photo buying an ordered milk tea amid pouring rain went viral.
The viral post says, “I feel so bad for GrabFood Drivers. Let’s not order muna especially with this kind of weather 😭😭😭😭 Our milktea cravings can wait. Kuya asked for that garbage bag sa serenitea para daw ma-deliver na niya 😭😭😭😭 Thank you po sa mga Kuya Grab Drivers 😭 “
The netizen also appealed for the company to provide the necessary equipment for their employees in situations like that.
