The state weather bureau PAGASA is currently monitoring a Low-Pressure Area (LPA) spotted near Tuguegarao City in Cagayan.

On Tuesday (June 25, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather condition in the country.

PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area was spotted at 580 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

The southwest monsoon would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, central Luzon, MIMAROPA, the Bicol Region and the Visayas.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya as well as the rest of the country.

The weather agency also warned the public regarding the possible flooding and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the entire country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
