Gawad Urian Award of Veteran Actor Eddie Garcia Placed In His Bed At the Hospital
EDDIE GARCIA – The Gawad Urian Award of Eddie Garcia was placed in his hospital bed.
Currently, veteran actor Eddie Garcia is at the hospital fighting for his life. It was after he met an accident during a taping for GMA-7’s project Rosang Agimat on June 8.
In the viral videos of the accident of Tito Eddie, it could be seen that the veteran actor seemingly tripped from a cable wire. He fell right into the ground and was brought to a nearby hospital.
The veteran actor fell into a comatose state and was left in a critical condition. He was transferred to Makati Medical Center where he is currently confined.
Eddie Garcia’s doctors admit that he is in a very serious and in a critical condition. One of them even said that only “miracle” can save the veteran actor.
Prayers for Tito Eddie and his family are outpouring. To it, the kins of the veteran actor are really grateful.
Tito Eddie’s family refused to stop his life support. They agreed to place him on a do-not-resuscitate (DNR) order.
Amid Eddie Garcia being on a critical condition now, the legendary actor received a Gawad Urian Award. He was hailed as the Best Actor for his portrayal of his character in the film ML, a Cinemalaya 2019 entry.
ML was directed by Benedict Mique. The veteran actor played the character of a retired military officer in the film. It was the director who received his award in behalf of him last night.
Based on the post on the Facebook account of Mique, the family of Eddie Garcia has sent a message that was read during the Gawad Urian awarding. His award was also placed in his hospital bed and he got to touch it.
