Baby Drowns After Falling Into Water Pale
Libertad, Bacolod City – a six-month-old baby drowned after accidentally falling into water pale on Monday morning (June 17, 2019).
The Bacolod City Police Office Station 6 reported that a six-month-old baby died after she accidentally fell into a pale of water at Libertad Public Market in Bacolod City.
The mother explained that she and her husband along with their two-year-old son were sleeping when the incident happened.
The family failed to notice that the infant accidentally fell from a store table into a pale of water with ‘oxalic powder’, which leads to the sudden death of the baby.
The baby girl was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital for medical attention but she was declared dead on arrival.
The female victim and its family requested the police authorities to hide their identity.
The authorities also revealed that the family is operating a vegetable store along the Lizares Extension of the market.
