Gina Pareno reacts over Eddie Garcia life support rumors.
EDDIE GARCIA LIFE SUPPORT – The veteran actress Gina Pareno, Manoy’s co-star in “Hintayan Ng Langit” reacts to rumors about withdrawal of his life support.
“Pls be informed that the family of Mr. Eddie Garcia has not authorized nor has it consented to withdrawal of life support. They have however agreed to place him on DNR status. Thank you.” – This is the latest medical bulletin from one of the attending physicians of veteran actor Eddie Garcia who is currently in a critical condition and in comatose state.
Moreover, he is now on life support and dependent on ventilator and medications to support his blood pressure. There were rumors that Manoy’s family had decided to withdraw his life support but the latest bulletin says otherwise. The family just agreed to Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) status. Also, the doctor added that only a “miracle” can save the veteran actor from his critical situation after suffering injury from a bad fall.
Now, his leading lady in the critically-acclaimed movie “Hintayan ng Langit”, Gina Pareno, has reacted to the rumors about the withdrawal of his life support and regarding his current critical condition.
The veteran actress expressed, “Sayang naman, bakit tatanggalin ang life support kung malakas pa ang puso niya? Baka puwede pa… Nagpadasal kami, nagpamisa kami for Eddie dito sa Marcelo Village, sa simbahan namin. Nag-offer kami ng Mass para sa kanya.”
Moreover, Pareno worriedly said, “Napanood ko kagabi sa Netflix yung Hintayan ng Langit, naku, yung mukha niya, lumalabas sa imagination ko, yung ospital, yung nangyari sa kanya.”
For her, the painful part of everything is that it all happened while the actor is perfectly fine and healthy.
