Raffy Tulfo Reveals Something About Woman Who Filed Him Bigamy
RAFFY TULFO – Broadcast journalist Raffy Tulfo revealed something about the woman who claims as his first wife.
Following a previous article, a woman named Julieta Nacpil Licup filed bigamy against Raffy Tulfo at the Quezon City Prosecutor’s office on Monday, June 10.
The woman who claimed to be his wife said they got married on October 25, 1982, in Capaz Tarlac.
Raffy Tulfo finally broke his silence about the issue. He released a statement saying he was blackmailed by the woman who claimed to be his wife.
The prominent broadcaster said Julieta Licup was already married to a foreigner. She previously asked him for a huge amount of money or she’ll destroy his career.
“She’s already married to a foreigner and she’s asking for P100 million or else gigibain daw niya ang buhay ko. I have the letter from her lawyer. It is blackmail and extortion,” said Tulfo.
The lawyer of Julieta Nacpil Licup, Atty. Lifredo Gonzales, spoke on behalf of his client. He said Licup was not after Raffy Tulfo but she was asking for the right of their child.
“Sya po ay meyembro ng media, tagataguyod ng katotohanan pero itong katotohanan na ito ay itinago po niya,” said Gonzales.
Three months after they got married, the broadcaster allegedly left his pregnant wife. Licup thought Raffy died.
