Aiko Melendez Reacts to Netizens Who Spreads Misleading News About Eddie Garcia
AIKO MELENDEZ – Actress Aiko Melendez reacted to the netizens who are spreading ‘fake news’ about Eddie Garcia.
Filipino veteran actor Eddie Garcia reportedly fell during his taping for Rosang Agimat in Tondo on Saturday, June 8.
The 90-year-old actor was immediately brought to Mary Johnson Hospital by the Kapuso staff.
Eddie Garcia was transferred to St. Luke’s Hospital later that afternoon but he was still comatose.
Veteran actor’s fellow celebrities and relatives have expressed their prayers for his speedy recovery.
Eddie Garcia’s co-star in the movie “Rainbow Sunset” Aiko Melendez asked the netizens to stop spreading misleading news about the actor.
The veteran actor played as a Senator and as Aiko’s gay father in the award-winning 2018 movie.
Based on a report from PUSH, Aiko Melendez expressed her anger towards the social media people who have been spreading ‘fake news’ about the actor.
“Sana people will stop posting misleading news about tito Eddie Garcia. He is still fighting all his chances to live. The best way we can do is wait for the official statement from the family,” she said.
According to the report, Aiko Melendez is hopeful that the veteran actor will be okay very soon.
“I know how great of a man Tito Eddie is, and we are all eager to know his situation. I myself is just waiting. His last movie and the past movies we made together is something i will cherish for the rest of my life.”
“Rainbow’s Sunset is something that will forever be etched in my heart. Not only did I worked with a good man but he treated me and the rest of the cast something special,” she added.
Based on the report, Aiko Melendez concluded her statement by saying Eddie Garcia is loved by lots of Filipino people.
“So for now laban pa din Manoy! You are loved by many! You are prayed by many! One prayer is powerful. I believe in miracles!” said Aiko.
We can all hope that the 90-year-old actor will make it through this ordeal.
