Quezon City Houses Caught by Fire Today (June 8)

The fire caught six(6) houses in Bagong Silang, Quezon City earlier today, June 8, 2019.

Undeniably, a lot of incidents may happen unexpectedly and can cost lives and properties. One of it is fire which has a greater chance of happening during the summer season.

Several families are victims of it and some did not only lost their properties or the roofs over the heads but as well as their loved ones. It can pose greater risks on areas where the houses are close to each other and are made of light materials.

Recently, the said incident happened in Quezon City and it left properties severely damaged.

Based on a recent report in ABS-CBN News, a fire incident sparked in Quezon City earlier today, June 8.

Specifically, the incident happened in Road 2 in Bagong Silang. Six(6) houses were involved in the said incident.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), it spread easily because the residential properties were made of light materials. The incident reached second alarm.

With regards to the effects of the incident, aside from the damages on six(6) houses, a man obtained burns in his shoulders. Based on the report, he was already rushed to the hospital.

Currently, the authorities are still looking on the number of families who are affected by the incident. The cost of the damage has yet to be determined.

The BFP is eyeing the defective electric cable as the possible reason behind the incident.
